To fulfill our mission, our programs prepare, educate, and inspire the next generation of arts sector leadership. Programs and events range from intimate mentorship opportunities to large, moderated discussions. Topics for our events vary and are centered around important issues new leaders face in the arts, including diversity, skill development, self-care, and many more.

Our professional development events range in topics from arts marketing to mentorship to discussions of recently published reports. Our goal with these events is to provide our members with invaluable advice and networking opportunities with "emerged" arts leaders active and respected in the Los Angeles arts community. We know meeting people is an important aspect of professional development, so our events maintain an open environment and the opportunity to socialize with members, non-members, panelists and speakers alike.

EAL/LA also hosts networking events, orchestrated specifically for social interaction. Mixers are hosted at various locations and may include a presentation from the location's staff about the venue, to expose our members to resources and opportunities.

Read more about our specific events in the links below. EAL/LA's events are implemented by our volunteer-run Leadership Council. Volunteers are always needed for events. To volunteer, sign up here.
