Creative Conversations II: Behind the Ides

CC-2.png

For the second installment of our annual Creative Conversations series, we will present a staged reading of Behind the Ides by David Armstrong, a documentary-style play that goes behind the scenes of the very real backlash that New York City's The Public Theater received during their recent production of Julius Caesar, in which they chose to portray the title character as the 45th president. The reading will be followed by a talk-back with Director Joan Hurwit.

**PLEASE NOTE**: EVENT IS FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC BUT THERE IS LIMITED CAPACITY. YOU MUST REGISTER VIA EVENTBRITE (CLICK RSVP BELOW TO BE REDIRECTED). FACEBOOK RSVPS WILL NOT BE HONORED.

Emerging Arts Leaders/Los Angeles (EAL/LA) is supported by a grant from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Additional thanks to a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs for program support of Creative Conversations.
